Wylie Hubbard Ewing

Wylie Ewing peacefully passed away October 2, 2025. He was born April 2, 1936 in Wheeling, WV to Elizabeth and Wylie Ewing. He attended school in Delray Beach, FL, Lawrenceville, NJ, and graduated from the University of Miami. Wylie did graduate work in engineering and mathematics and was a registered engineer in the State of Florida. He worked for several aerospace companies including McDonnell Douglas, Aerojet General, and Lockheed Martin. He retired from Lockheed as a senior space systems engineer in 1992. Family includes wife Lynda, and sons Edwin and George. Wylie enjoyed skiing, fishing, mountaineering and travel. His love of music was as inspiring as it was broad, from bluegrass to pipe organ fugues. He was a private pilot, a hospice volunteer, and a member of ClearView Community Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, 2926 Zuni St. #202, Denver 80211 and ClearView Community Church, 357 Rodeo Road, PO Box 1336, Buena Vista, CO 81211.
