Virginia S Keeling

Virginia S. Keeling, age 98 of Salida, passed away on January 6, 2023 at Columbine Manor Care Center in Salida. Mrs. Keeling was born January 14, 1924 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Ernest and Louella (Fox) Sheffler. Mrs. Keeling married Grover Keeling on May 18, 1939, they had been married 77 years when he passed away. Mrs. Keeling has been a member of the Upper Room Church of God in Salida for over 30 years and she enjoyed watching old Westerns, listening to Christian music, taking care of children and spending time with her family. She never met a stranger and she was very kind and caring. Mrs. Keeling was preceded in death by her parents, husband Grover Keeling , sons Rick Keeling, Tim Keeling, Dennis Keeling, 4 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her sons Bart (Darlene) Keeling of Little Chute, Wisconsin, Terry Keeling of Salida, 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Upper Room Church of God in Salida, CO on June 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Friends who desire may make memorial contributions to the Upper Room Church Of God.
