Viola M Alloy

Viola M. Alloy, age 99, of Salida, passed away on December 19, 2024 at Columbine Manor Care Center in Salida, CO. Mrs. Alloy was born May 30, 1925 in Salida, CO to Ralph and Bessi (Valli) Porco. Mrs. Alloy was a lifelong resident of Salida. She enjoyed baking bread, cooking and gardening. She loved music, she could play the piano by ear, she enjoyed singing and could be heard singing in the nursing home up until a few months ago before she back ill. Her greatest love was taking care of her family! Mrs. Alloy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sam Alloy Jr., son Danny Alloy, brothers Dominic, Nick and Joe Porco, sisters Fannie Watson, Suzie DeBuano, Rosie Barone, Frances Bayuk and Jane Sterle. She is survived by her son Edward (Kathy) Alloy of Salida, CO, daughter Betty (Richard) Furton of Poncha Springs, CO, grandchildren Kevin (Bonnie) Furton, Darrell (Nacita) Furton, Amanda Alloy and Dominica (Cody) Simpson and 7 great grandchildren. Recitation of the Holy Rosary is set for 10:30 AM Friday December 27, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church will Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Friends who desire may make memorial contributions to Columbine Manor Care Center through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
