Sophia Winnifred Arnold

Sophia Winnifred (Mell) Arnold, 97, of Salida, Colorado passed away March 16, 2022 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado. She was born on January 2, 1925 in Galena Bay, British Columbia, Canada to Thomas Mell and Valencia Stephen (Froloff) Mell. She married William John Arnold Jr. in September, 1954 in Casper, Wyoming. Survivors include son Douglas J. (Mary) Arnold of Denver, Colorado, daughter Shannon L. Arnold of Elizabeth, Colorado and grandchildren Kathryn L. (Matthew Foster) Bergner and family of Parker, Colorado, Steven W. Arnold of Denver, Colorado and Samuel A. Ward of Denver, Colorado. A memorial service is to be held at a later date.
