Sharon Sue (Patrick) Yunikar

Sharon Sue Patrick Yunikar passed away on June 9, 2023 after a long illness.  She was born in Lamar, Colorado on April 24, 1942 to Truman Cecil and Georgia Blanche (Langford) Patrick.  She lived in Las Animas, Colorado until age six when her family moved to Buena Vista.  She attended BV schools until January 15, 1960 when she married William J. Yunikar of Salida. They were married for 59 years.

Sharon is survived by her son William P. Yunikar of Salida; daughter Audrey Marso of Grand Junction; grandchildren Joseph, Jean-Thomas, Ava and Max Marso all of Grand Junction.  She is also survived by her sister, Bonnie Fowler of Salida as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, daughter-in-law Karen Kaess-Yunikar and sisters Marjorie DeVault and Peggy Wallace.
