Richard Joseph Salazar, age 39, of Canon City, CO passed away on August 11, 2023 in Salida. Mr. Salazar was born March 17, 1984 in Salida, CO to Richard and Debbie (Avila) Salazar.
Ricky enjoyed family time, hunting, fishing and motor sports. He worked as a cable installer for Charter for 14 years. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Salazar, grandmothers Jessie Avila, Pearl Salazar. He is survived by his son Ian Salazar, parents Richard and Debbie Salazar, sister Melissa Drake and grandfather Frank Avila. Aunts Belinda Verhoeff, Debbie Ross and many extended family members.
A Celebration of life is set for 10:00 AM Saturday September 2, 2023 at the Grace Church. On line condolences may be sent to the family at lewisandglenn.com. Arrangements are with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
