Patricia Ann Nordby

Patricia Ann Nordby, born January 16, 1946 in Harlan, Iowa passed away June 12,2020 surrounded by her family. Patricia was born to Daryl and Clara Burger, one of five children. She married Marvin Nordby October 30, 1965 and they had three children together. Marvin and Pat moved to Salida, CO in 1974 where they made a home, raised children, ran a business and watched their grandchildren and great grandchild grow. She was “Nani” to many. Pat was preceded in death by her mother, Clara; father, Daryl; brother, Ronnie and sister, Sandra Kopta. Pat leaves behind her husband Marvin; son Michael Nordby, two daughters, Marti (John) Dodgen and Sara Nordby. Her grandchildren, Devon (Stardust) Nordby, Trenton Nordby, Franklin (Cecelia) Phelps, Alex Nordby and Dylan Phelps will miss her terribly. She was the center of their world. Patricia’s great-granddaughter Arianna Samora was her greatest joy. Pat also leaves behind the children that were hers if only in her heart, Samantha Leewaye, Zoe Lamm, and Zaedyn Lamm. If she made up her mind to love you that was all there was to it, you were hers. Pat’s family is obviously shaken, nothing will ever be the same but they are thankful that her struggles are over and they are eternally grateful that she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior in the hours before her death.
