Michael William Cahill

Michael William Cahill, age 57, of Salida, passed away on Friday January 20, 2023 at his home is Salida. Mr. Cahill was born May 8, 1965 in Minnesota to Richard and Beverly (Treml) Cahill. Mr. Cahill moved to Salida with his family when he was young. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping, fishing, hunting and watching football. He owned and operated Highs Liquor for the past 20 years. He took over from his parents who had owned and operated the business for the previous 30 years. Mr. Cahill was proceeded in death by his father Richard Cahill. He is survived by his mother Beverly Cahill of Salida, son Josh (LaMarie) Cahill of Salida, CO, daughter August Cahill of Alamosa, CO, brother Richard Cahill of Howard, CO, sister Kellie Cahill of Poncha Springs, CO and grandson Xavier Claybrook of Salida. A Memorial Service is set for Saturday February 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home. On line condolences may be sent to the family at lewisandglenn.com.
