Michael W. Buerk

Michael Buerk 64 passed away quietly on the afternoon of September 6th, 2023, at his home in Leadville Co. He was with his partner of 29 years, Melissa Lambertus, her sister and his close friend Viki, his German Shepherd Dog Uschi, and his 2 cats.

He died as he had lived, with honesty, integrity and courage, after a hard fought battle with cancer.

His strength and stoicism, his bright smile and the twinkle in his eye will linger with those of us who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
