In Loving Memory of Marilyn Diamond
It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Diamond.
Marilyn Diamond, 78, of Buena Vista, CO died peacefully in her home July 31st, 2024.
She was born February 13, 1946 in Rockford, IL
Marilyn was a remarkable woman and devoted mother, whose boundless generosity and infinite love touched everyone who knew her. Marilyn lived a life molded by her unwavering kindness and fierce dedication to her family and her beloved animals.
Before becoming the most amazing and selfless mother, Marilyn was a successful businesswoman, even once receiving the Los Angeles Business Journal Woman of the Year award from Nancy Reagan. Her business savvy carried on to a long incredible life in Buena Vista where she and her husband founded an aggregate mining business.
Her selflessness was a beacon of light, illuminating the lives of her children and those around her. She nurtured her family with an unparalleled affection and commitment, always putting their needs above her own. Her love for her family was as profound as it was enduring, and her dedication to her animals was a true testament to her incredibly compassionate spirit.
Though words fall short in capturing the depth of the loss of warmth and love, we find solace in the continuing impact of her love and the countless lives she touched. She will be profoundly missed and remembered forever.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters Misty (Albert), Myrissa, and Shyla; sons Sabyn, D’Alyn, David, and Teigan; and granddaughter Everly. Her kids, grandkids, and animals were her life.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Bruce and daughter Jaime.
