Obituary for Madison Bradford
Madison Noel Bradford went to her heavenly home on February 24, 2025. She was born in Penrose, Colorado, on December 15, 2008.
She is remembered by many for her infectious smile and big heart. Moreover, she loved people and was the type of person who enjoyed helping others.
In her younger days, she enjoyed horseback riding with her aunt, swimming in local hot springs pools, riding her bicycle, and playing with her cat Rufio. Her favorite subject in school was math.
Later she developed an interest in golf, taking lessons at the local golf course. She also developed a love for art and drawing. She especially enjoyed decorating clothing. In addition to her artistic endeavors, she enjoyed puzzles, board games, and card playing. Anyone who knew her well knew she could play a mean game of Colorado Rummy.
In 2021, she and her brother, Patrick, collaborated on a full-length film project, for which she helped to write the script and set the lighting.
Also during this time, she became involved in 4-H, taking on projects initially in rabbits and shooting sports and later in robotics, archery, and dog training. In 2023, she placed high in all events, including qualifying for state in archery.
Madison is survived by her parents, David and Danette Bradford of Salida, Colorado; her brother, Patrick, also of Salida: her grandparents, Dean and Dana Roberts, of Salida; three aunts, six uncles, and 10 cousins residing in Colorado and elsewhere. She is also survived by her cat Tigra, her dog Trixie, and her two parakeets, Kiwi and Sky.
