Lewis Waldo Cantril

Lewis Waldo Cantril, 88, died on September 17, 2024 at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Hospital in Salida, CO. He was born on July 4, 1936, in Leadville, CO to James and Arline (Spencer) Cantril.

He married Earl Dean (McDaniel)  Cantril on May 17, 1958 and together they had two children, Lewis Jame and Deanna Marie Cantril.

They moved to Salida from Leadville in 1971. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Salida.

He is survived by his daughter Deanna (Frank) DeLuca; and granddaughter Lucy DeLuca.

Per Mr. Cantril’s wishes, there will be no memorial services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship Fund. https://forms.donorsnap.com/form?id=1ea1977d-0b13-46a7-9ccd-18ff8999e8b8
