Judith K Collins, 83 of Alamosa passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on November 5th, 2023.
Judy was born November 29, 1939 in Salida to Paul & Mamie Nelson. She had 5 brothers, Chuck, Roy, Paul Jr, Rex, and Jimmy and 2 sisters, Betty & Shirley.
On June 3rd, 1956 Judy married Don Collins. Together they had three children Russel Collins, Wade Collins and Colleen (Collins) Green.
Judy loved the Lord and dedicated her Sundays to teaching Sunday school and playing the piano for Church services. She was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker who always put her family first, leaving smiles on everyone's faces. She loved her family deeply and loved watching her family grow.
Judy is survived by her children Russel Collins and Colleen (Randy) Green, daughter in law Twyla Collins, Grandchildren Susan Collins, Christa (Travis) Heikes, Warren (Sarah) Collins, Jason (Kassie) Collins, James Green and Crystal (Kevin) Gonzales, Great-Grandchildren Codie Heikes (Shawn Moore), Marissa Heikes (Braden Antes), Hailey, Lane and Gracie Collins, Kolt & Jett Collins, Hadley Livings, Kevin Jr., Raeicia, Phoenix, Gideon, Benjamin Gonzales and Great-Great Grandchildren Lane and Ethen Moore.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband Don Collins, siblings, son Wade Collins and Grandson Nicholas Collins.
Her memory will live on through those who loved her and knew her. She touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by us all.
Services will be held Saturday, November 18th at 10:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery in Salida, CO.
