Jevita F. Embry

Jevita Fern Embry was born May 24, 1934, in Magee, OK to Melvin and Rachael Hinkle.  She received her angel wings on Oct 17, 2024; she was surrounded by family and friends.

Jevita married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Embry, on Sept 15, 1951, in Oklahoma City, OK.  Jevita was a walking medical miracle.  At the age of 15 her medical issues started with rheumatic fever.  Jevita lived a long and full life that touched many.  She loved the Lord and attended Living Waters Church in Salida, CO. 

Should you be lucky enough to have Jevita cross your path in the walk of life, you know what a blessing she was to each and every one of us.  Her love and loyalty to the Lord was amazing and she never held back any opportunity to witness Him.

She is survived by her children Stanley (Laurie) Embry of Howard, CO, Unita (Michael) Scheid of Casper, WY and Jeff (Linny) Embry of Coaldale, CO, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Embry, her brothers and sister.
