Jean A. Graf

Jean Angela Graf, age 84 of Salida, passed away on October 2, 2024 at the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center in Salida. Mrs. Graf was born July 29, 1940 in Quinter, Kansas to Balthazar and Angela (Von Lintel) Richmeier. Mrs. Graf and her husband moved to Salida in 1966. She was a past member of the Daughters of Isabella, St Joseph Alter and Rosary Society, the American Legion Auxiliary, a life member of the Girl Scouts of America, where she was Unit Manager in Salida from 1985-1991 and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Graf is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, son Karl Graf, daughter Sara Graf, sisters Agnes Geist, Marge Mealer, Rosalee Urban and Pat Graf. Brothers Frank Richmeier, Gerald Richmeier, Valerian Richmeier and William Richmeier. She is survived by her daughter Celeste Graf-Ellis of Salida, CO, adopted daughter Kristi (Isiah) White and their children Shelby and Angelique White of Florida, sisters Sophie Breit of Kansas, Roberta Reitcheck of Kansas. Daughter-in-law Margaret Marcucci, step-grandchildren Brian, Nathaniel and Amanda Green along with many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass is set for 1:00 PM Friday October 25, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
