James I Schaufelberger

James I. Schaufelberger, age 71, of Salida, passed away on Sunday November 26, 2023 at Stone Creek of Flying Horse in Colorado Spirngs, CO. Mr. Schaufelberger was born December 14, 1951 in Washington, DC to Irving and Geraldine Schaufelberger. Mr. Schaufelberger enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping riding ATV’s and just being in the outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and their families. Mr. Schaufelberger was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Ameal and Frannie Schaufleberger and Aunt Bernice S. Duryea. He is survived by his cousins Kay Duryea Fusco and her daughters of Missouri, Karen Duryea German and her sons of New York and good friend Thomas (Michelle) Moon and their family.
