Heidi Jane Coates April 18, 1968 – July 6, 2025

Heidi Jane Coates, 57, passed away on July 6, 2025. A beautiful, funny, and truly special soul, Heidi touched countless lives with her radiant smile and unmistakable laugh, which could light up any room. She was an incredible mom and wife with unconditional joy and selfless love for her daughters and husband. Not only did she give her heart to her family she also took care of her community as a nurse at the BV Schools and Lake County Public Health.

Heidi is survived by her loving husband, Dennis; their three daughters, Ella, Clara, and Sara; her mother, Bernice Hostetler; brother, Lynn Hostetler (Lisa); sisters, Karen and Arlene; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Hostetler, and brother, Scott Hostetler.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Valley Fellowship Church, 608 South San Juan, Buena Vista, CO. A reception will follow, and all are invited to stay. Please share this notice with friends.

A burial will take place in Harper, Kansas, on July 16, 2025.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the "Honor Heidi: Coates Family College Fund" at the link below.  Arrangements are with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
