Gordon and Shirley Trask

Salida residents Gordon 86 and Shirley 75 Trask died. Gordon died on February 8, 2023 and Shirley died on March 23, 2020.  

Gordon was born on October 25, 1936 in Ohio. He enjoyed farming, cutting wood and just working hard in general. He loved his animals and treated his pets like family. Shirley was born on June 1, 1944 in Kansas. She loved her family, growing flowers and taking care of her yard. She also loved animals of every kind, as well as sewing. They were married in Ohio on December 1, 1976. They both loved each other and loved working on the farm in Ohio.

Survivors include Brent (Karen) Spino and Brad (Becky) Spino. Grandchildren Mandy (Chancey) Dietrich, Justin Spino and Katie Smith, Bob McCabe and Michelle Bosley and Faith Spino. Neice Tammy (Randy) Tucker, Nephews Ty (Tina Killinen) Hickman, Rusty (Kathy) Trask and Ronny Trask. They had numerous great-grandchildren.

No formal services are planned at this time, but a Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.

Donations can be made to Ark Valley Humane Society. Arrangements were made with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
