Frederick Willard Hobbs

Salida, Colorado - Fred W. Hobbs, aged 87, passed away at home on December 18, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Anna Hobbs, as well as his sisters Alice Gilleran and Sylvia Slocum. Fred is survived by his wife Sandra, sons Mark and wife Rosa, Matthew Hobbs, and three cherished grandchildren. Additionally, he leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Originally from Thompson, PA, Fred made Salida, Colorado his home, leaving an indelible mark on the community. He was the proud owner of Hobbs' Market in Thompson, PA, where he served the community until his well-earned retirement.

Fred's dedication to family, community, and hard work defined his life. Beyond his professional endeavors, Fred found joy in his leisure activities. He enjoyed playing golf and skiing with his family in his free time, creating lasting memories and strengthening the bonds with those he held dear.

His legacy lives on through the love, laughter, and shared moments with family and friends.
