Evelyn Agnes Behrmann

Evelyn was born on January 13, 1927, in Flagler Colorado. She was born to John and Hedwig Meyer. She married Ernst Behrmann on March 18th, 1951. They moved to Buena Vista in 1968.

They had 7 children, the order of the children is:

James (Alma)

Joyce (Brad)

Juanita (Charles)

Linda (Wayne, deceased)

Larry (Sheryl)

Robert

Kathy.

Evelyn had 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.  Evelyn loved walking, reading, flowers, playing with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She also babysat her great granddaughter until she was about 4 years old.  She loved singing and playing her organ and was in church every Sunday.  She also enjoyed embroidering, and other fun crafts. Evelyn also enjoyed baking bread and other baking.  She made the best coconut cream pie in the world. One of her granddaughters gave her manicures and pedicures which she enjoyed very much.  She was the best mom and grandmother ever loving, and beautiful.  She is preceded in death by her parents John and Hedwig, her husband Ernst, her son Larry, and her great grandchild Josiah.

The Funeral Service will be held March 26, 2025, at Faith Lutheran Church in Buena Vista at 3:00 PM with the Graveside Service to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at 4:00.
