Eugene Nollkamper Obituary
Eugene “Gene” Aaron Nollkamper, 95, of Salida died Dec. 10, 2018, at Columbine Manor Care Center in Salida.
He was born April 8, 1923, in Shiner, Texas, to George and Freida (Goesch) Nollkamper.
Mr. Nollkamper served in the 4th Air Force of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and in 1946 joined Shell Oil Co.
He retired in 1986.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Dorothea Nollkamper of Salida; daughter, Bongeron Sheddrick of Salida; son, Wade Nollkamper of Kingsville, Texas; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
His graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 14, 2018, at Fairview Cemetery in Salida.
Arrangements are with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home in Salida.
