Donald Luz Sanchez

Donald Luz Sanchez, age 70, of Salida, died on October 25, 2023 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born in Canon City, Colorado on May 28, 1953 to Luz and Consuelo Sanchez. Donnie graduated from Salida High School in 1973. He married his wife Kay in 1973. Together they had two children Donald and Marcey. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was known for always keeping his vehicles clean and shiny. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, children Donald (Denise) Sanchez, Marcey (Timmy) Walker, grandchildren Abigail (Diondre), Toby, Zayne, Shelby, Ashton and Nayava. Sisters Amy (Dave) Ward and Suzie (Steve) Velasquez and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services are set for 11:00 AM Friday November 3, 2023 at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
