Passed away 08/28/2024 Salida, CO

Born in Canon City, CO Dec 1939 to parents George and Anne Abbott.

He is survived by Mike Abbott, Nick Gordon, Tina ” Gordon” Burns, Amy “Rose” Lipscomb.

Salida High Class of 1957. Serving in the USMC 1st Battalion 9th Marines

Delmer Spent his working years as a hard rock miner in Climax, CO

Delmer spent his free time honing the art of Hunting, Trapping and Fishing like his Father. Known for Long days on the rivers, lakes and countless trips up Ute trail. And a challenging game of Cribbage in the Evenings.
