Carl Fred Weiss

Carl Weiss passed from this life September 30, 2023. He was born July 31, 1922 in Columbus, Kansas. He was a WWII veteran, overseas for almost two and half years. When returning from the war Carl married Geneva Lengquist. They were married for 74 years until her passing in 2020. They had 1 child, a daughter Jennifer Weiss Alexander. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Mary Weiss, and one brother, Howard. He was a loving husband and father, he is survived by daughter Jennifer and her husband Darell Alexander, two granddaughters, Carrie Heintz (Scott) of Brighton, Co, and Audrey Alexander of Moffat, six great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. He will be missed by all who knew him in life. Cremation was chosen and a memorial service for Carl & Geneva will be held on October 14th at 2pm at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements have been made with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home in Salida, CO.
