Carl A. Vallier

Carl Alexander Vallier of Salida, aged 88 passed away on September 9, 2024 with family by his side. He was born September 12, 1935 to Thomas and Clara Vallier. He married Glavaun Smith, June 5, 1967 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He is remembered for his great love for God, his quiet dedication to his family and his gentile demeanor. After Carl retired from a long career as an electronic technician, he spent many happy years camping and exploring the remote Colorado mountains on his ATV with his wife and children. He was a skilled Ham radio operator (call letters WD5IFV) and his secret talent was that he could fix anything. Carl is survived by his wife of 57 years, Glavaun Vallier, daughter, Jodell Onstott and husband John Onstott, son Chris Vallier and wife Jonelle Vallier and eight grandchildren. A celebration of his life will take place November 30, 2024 at Burleson SDA Church, Burleson, Texas. On line condolences may be sent to the family at lewisandglenn.com.
