Beverly Jean Cahill

Beverly Jean Cahill, age 86 of Salida, CO. passed away on October 31, 2024.

She was born to William and Margaret Holt of Park Falls, WI on December 22, 1937. She married Richard Cahill on January 2, 1959 in Northwood, IA.

Beverly, Richard and their family moved to Salida, CO. in April of 1973. They owned and operated Highs Liquor and Mountain Motel. After Richards passing on August 3, 1998, Beverly continued to operate the store and motel until around 2002 when her son Mike took over the liquor store, and her daughter Kellie the motel.

Beverly is proceeded in death by her husband Richard and her son Mike.

She is survived by her Son Richard Jr. of Howard, CO, and her daughter Kellie of Denver, CO. She is also survived by her brother Jack (Sharon) Holt of Park Falls WI, sister Sherry of Richmond, VA and Ferd Peterson of MN, grandchildren Michael and Monica Manci and Richie, Josh and Amanda Cahill, and 5 great grandchildren Duke, Wake and Baylor of Salida, CO, Guiseppe and Lillian of Alaska.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 23, 2024 at 10:00 am at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home in Salida, CO. Beverly requested that no flowers be sent, and any donations may be made out to Richard Cahill.
