Barbara "Barbie" Lee Luna

Barbara (Barbie) Lee Luna, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2024. Barbara was born on September 9, 1971 to Nick Standing Bear and Barbara Reeves in Denver, CO. She graduated from Adams City High School in 1990. She enjoyed camping with her family, reading tarot cards, and attending Native American cultural activities. Barbie had been watching Days of our Lives since she was a young teenager and she stayed a devoted fan for the remainder of her life.

Barbara is survived by her husband John Luna and her children Andrew and Tyler Lennie and her step-children Eric Luna, Anthony Luna, John Michael Luna and Leo (Jordan) Luna. She is also survived by her mother, Barbara Reeves and her siblings Tammy (Mike) Brand, Billy (Trisha) Reeves, Natalie (Brian) Hosman, Susanne (Perry) Valdez, Kimberly (Chuck) McNair, and April (Roy) Johnson Kingsbury as well her mother in law Sylvia Luna. Barbara also had a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Nick Standing Bear and her step father William Reeves as well as three sets of Grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June, 8 2024 at 1:00 pm at Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home in Salida, CO.  There will be a reception at the Centennial Park in Salida immediately following the 1:00 service.
