Barbara A. Gentile

Barbara died Thursday at home surrounded by her family due to recently found illness. She graduated from Salida High School in 1953. She finished her Nursing Degree in 1958. She worked hard in taking care of people and most of the time giving you the hard honest truth. She loved to travel, gamble, and shop on QVC. She was a super hero. 

 Barbara is survived by lots of family including her daughter Lisa Gentile; her grand children Gregory, Stephen, and Morgan Gentile; her great grandchildren Emma, Carter, and Charlie Gentile. She is also survived by her cousins, Joey Drobnick and Willie Drobnick.  

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Tony Gentile and her mother Edith Stancato. 

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 10:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5th and D Street, Salida, Colorado 81201. A Memorial Mass will be held immediately following at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 8105 Co Rd 144, Salida, CO 81201.
