Audraine C. Storey

Audraine Clinton Storey, (aka Audie), age 84, passed away on May 20, 2023 at his home in Howard, CO. Mr. Storey was born July 14, 1938 to Richard A. and Rachel L. Storey in Lincoln County, New Mexico near the town of Carrizozo. Mr. Storey attended public schools in Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico and college in Denver, Colorado. He worked for the City of Aurora, Colorado in the engineering department as a cartographer and associate engineer. Audie served in the US Army in 1961 & 1962 in the Quartermaster Division with a petroleum depot company. He married Jannie Ann Price in 1963 and they had one daughter Annette Lorene and 4 grandchildren; Tyler, Bretton, Sierra and Lacey. Audie was proceeded in by his parents, wife Jannie, his grandson Bretton Storey. He is survived by his daughter Annette (Jeff) Nichols, his grandson Tyler J. Storey, his granddaughters Sierra Storey, Lacey Lynn Nichols and a great granddaughter Brandilee. He was a life member of the DAV, the NRA, the 2nd Amendement Foundation and the American Legion. Audie was also on the Board of Directors of the Howard Cemetery Committee. His hobbies were coin collecting, amateur (HAM) radio, doing house remodeling and landscaping with Evergreen trees. Audie loved his family and little dogs that he had during his lifetime. He will be greatly missed. Per Audie’s request, there will be no services.
