Anne Marie Simon

Anne Marie Simon (born Anna Maria Reina), 74, of Nathrop, CO, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease and Lewy body dementia. 

She was born on February 13, 1950, to Josephine and Tony Reina in San Biagio Platani, Agrigento, Sicily and immigrated to the United States with her family in 1954.

In 1973, Anne married the love of her life, Mike Simon. 

They shared 52 wonderful years together, filled with love, joy, and cherished memories.

Anne is survived by her devoted husband, Mike, and her loving children, Natalie (Mike) and Dan (Robin). 

She was the cherished grandmother of Lea, Alexis, James, and Jonny.

Anne is also survived by her brother, Leo Reina; nephews, Tony and Nick; niece, Sara; her zia, Teresa; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Josephine Reina.

Her life was marked by her enduring love for her family, and she took immense pride and joy in her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

A celebration of life service will be held to honor Anne’s life.

Anne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
