Angela Ann Williams was born November 2, 1968 and passed away at her home in Buena Vista on January 15, 2025 at the age of 56. She was born at the Salida Hospital weighing 3 lbs and 3 oz. She was rushed to Children's Hospital in Denver the following day, and finally came home on Christmas Eve. She suffered all her life with epileptic seizures and her life expectancy was limited to about five years.
Angela learned to crawl with the help of her big sisters and eventually to stand and take steps until she became too tall to safely do so and spent the rest of her life in a wheelchair. Do to all the tubes used to keep her alive as an infant, her vocal cords were damaged and she never talked, but she could laugh.
Angela loved animals and family. She found joy in family celebrations and the antics of her pets. She enjoyed family trips and absolutely enjoyed opening gifts. Her laughter was contagious. She taught her family many lessons about love and life and what really matters.
Angela was preceded in death by her father Wayne Williams and sister Linette Williams. Her mother followed her twelve days later. She is survived by her sister Anita Kay (Steve) Allinger and niece Alicia Ann Allinger.
A double celebration of life will be held at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Buena Vista at a later date.
