Norma Lee Stotler passed away peacefully November 19, 2019. She was born February 8, 1931 in Longbeach, California to Wesly and Selma Hand. She moved with her parents to Salida, CO when she was fifteen years old. She met Lynn Stotler at the Salida Elk’s Lodge in January of 1949. Soon thereafter they were married. She gave birth to four boys Michael, Daniel, Donald and Jimmy Stotler during their marriage. She was very proud to say that she continued to raise her family, even after her boys left home by helping with grandchildren daily. Norma will be remembered as one of the most gentle, kind, and giving souls. She was quick to laugh at jokes, loved family gatherings, and always kept in touch with her boys, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Prior to retirement she worked for several local companies including Crews Beggs, Lalliers Pharamcy, and the 1st National Bank. She was preceded in death by her parents Wesly and Selma Hand, sister Connie (Hand) Ortel, son Donald Stotler, granddaughters Mandy Stotler and Maria Stotler, and great grandchildren Marissa and Mason. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Lynn Stotler, sons Michael (Brenda) Stotler, Daniel (Patty) Stotler, and Jimmy (Donna) Stotler, six grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Per Norma’s request, no funeral services will be held, but a celebration of life will be announced by the family. On line condolences may be sent to the family at lewisandglenn.com.
