Mary Isabelle Wooden

Mary Isabelle Wooden, age 89, passed away on June 12, 2019 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born to parents Mary Felice and Edward Foster King on October 26,1929 near Crestone, Colorado. After graduating from Moffat, Colorado High School and marriage to Kenneth Leroy Wooden, the couple with their only child eventually settled in Uravan, Colorado where they lived the majority of their working career. Isabelle retiredon November 24, 1986 from the United States Postal Service after Uravan's mining and milling operations ceased in December, l986. Isabelle is survived by son Kenneth Lee Wooden and his wife Cindy of Rogers, Arkansas, grandsons Timothy Lee Wooden and wife Feeby of Vista, California, and Zachary Andrew Wooden of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. She is also survived by four loving sisters Joe Benson of Salida, Colorado, Tess Carpenter of Monte Vista, Colorado, Edna (Harold) Bennett of Moffat, Colorado, and Carol (John) Fear of Salida, Colorado. Isabelle loved all of her numerous nieces and nephews and was especially fond of her two great grandchildren, Makayla Isabelle Wooden and Nathaniel James Wooden. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Jack, Bob and Jim, and sisters Emily King Goehl and Pauline King Coombs. Her husband Kenneth passed on May 22, 2005. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to any cancer cure or Alzheimer's cure program of your choice.
