Josephine Oversole Obituary
Josephine Oversole, age 86, of Salida, passed away on Wednesday December 6, 2017 at Columbine Manor Care Center after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Mrs. Oversole was born September 24, 1931 in Salida, CO to Frank and Elizabeth (Turk) Micklich.
She married George Oversole on April 14, 1951 and they had three sons Lonnie, George Jr. and Mike. She worked at many restaurants over the years and she also worked at Waggners Pharmacy and Gibson’s where she retired. Mrs. Oversole enjoyed embroidering, raising chickens and being with her family.
Mrs. Oversole was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, brothers Anthony Gregorich, Frank Gregorich, Albert Micklich, Matt Micklich, Eddie Micklich, Joe Micklich, Phillip Micklich and sister Francis Utley. She is survived by her sons Lonnie (Rose) Oversole of Nathrop, CO, Mike (Sandy) Oversole of Salida, CO and George Oversole Jr. of Salida, CO. Sister Annie Hurley of Pueblo, CO, grandchildren Crystal Oversole, Rachel Oversole, Tasha Lopez, Jennifer Valerio, Aaron Oversole, great grandchildren Pixie Oversole, Ryan Kay, Tyler Kay, Jarren Oversole, Blayne Valerio, Abinaya Valerio, Alexandra Oversole, Mason Lopez, Easton Lopez, Jaylynn Lopez and many nieces and nephews.
