Frank Elias Mitchell, age 90 life long resident of Salida, passed away on Sunday march 25, 2018 at Heart of The Rockies Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Mitchell was born September 3, 1927 in Salida, CO to Berne  and Addie (Knickerbocker) Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell was a member of the Salida Elks Lodge, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.  Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Mitchell and sister Bette Parisi.  He is survived by his wife of 71 years Colleen Mitchell of Salida, sons Mark (Kathy) Mitchell of Arvada, CO and Kurt (Beth) Mitchell of Windsor, CO.  Daughters  Valarie (Barbara) Mitchell of Sarasota, FL, Jean (Bob) Ferraro of Salida, CO and Lori (Tanya Wait) Mitchell of Salida, CO.   Sister-in-law Sue Bayuk of Salida, CO,  9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
