Earl Dean Cantril

Earl Dean Cantril, 80, died on February 9, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. She was born on June 25, 1938 in Nauvoo, Alabama to Earle and Grace (Birdeshaw) McDaniel.

She married Lewis W. Cantril on May 17, 1958 and together they had two children, Lewis Jame and Deanna Marie Cantril.

They moved to Salida from Leadville in 1971. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Salida.

Earl Dean was preceded in death by her parents; son Lewis; brothers T.K. Bolin, Frank McDaniel, Aaron McDaniel, and Edmond Fetner; and sister Lois Raines.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years; daughter Deanna (Frank) DeLuca; and granddaughter Lucy DeLuca.

Per Mrs. Cantril’s wishes, there will be no memorial services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship Fund.
