Darlene T Savoren

Darlene T. Savoren Born September 4, 1946 in Leadville, CO. Passed away peacefully on July 31, 2019 at the Columbine Manor Care Center. She was born to George &Frances Savoren of Leadville. She was the youngest of 4 siblings: Robert Savoren Sr. of Leadville, Carol & (Edward) Popovich of Leadville, Elaine & (Jack) Hansen of Buena Vista, CO. Darlene was proceeded in death by her parents and all her siblings, and her beloved cat Monster. Darlene had a passion for cars in her ten-yer as a bookkeeper/Office Manager. She worked for Zalar Motors Company in Leadville, Timberline Motors in Leadville, and Hickey Motors in Silverthorne. In the last years of employment sheworked for the Lake County Treasures Office. She also loved horses, her dogs curly and Lady. Darlene never married but was a great friend to many people. She is survived by her Nieces and Nephews: Bob (Gloria) Savoren, Randy (Andrea) Savoren, Diana Savoren, Mark Popovich, Mary (Norm) Schroeder, Jeff Hansen, Glenn (Rhonda)Hansen. Great Nieces and Nephews: Rebecca Popovich, Kathy (Dillon) Snare, Brittney Hansen, Channey Hansen, Summer (Geoff) Brown, Josh (Jeanie) Jacobson, Amanda (Michael Kerr). Grand Nieces and Nephews: Addie Jean McNicholas, WyattMcNicholas, Leslie Kerr,  Josiah Kerr, Carter Ray Brown. Darlene knew the Lord and always had a Prayer Card of the Patron St Therese, Little Flower and a Rosary at her side,a plastic one for bed time. There will be a recitation of the Holy Rosary at St. Rose of Lima in Buena Vista, CO Friday August 2, 2019 at 7:00 PM. There will be a viewing before the Mass The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday August 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM at St. Rose of Lima Church located at 118 S Gunnison Ave in Buena Vista, interment will follow Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Celebration of Life luncheon to follow with family and friends of Darlene at the Parish Hall. Bring Love, Smiles and Stories to share.
