Cecile LeBrun Obituary
Cecile T. Lebrun, 91, died Dec. 7, 2017, at Columbine Manor Care Center in Salida.
She was born Dec. 25, 1925, in Woonsocket, R.I., to Fredrick and Martina Durand.
She came to Colorado in October 2010 from Woonsocket.
While she lived at Columbine Manor Care Center, she enjoyed speaking French to the residents and tried to teach the staff.
Friends and family said she was a very giving, thoughtful and caring person.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Achille Durand, Lucien Durand, Mederick Durand, Phillippe Durand, Joseph Durand, Leo Durand, Alcide Durand and Raymond Durand; and sisters, Annette Turcotte, Rose Theroux, Yvonne Dubois, Estelle Lachapelle and Donalda Jacuques.
Survivors include her daughter, Paulette (Tim) Sundgren; grandchildren, Kenneth (Megan) Boucher and Kurt Boucher; great-grandchildren, Kassie Leigh Boucher, Kyle Boucher, Emma Cecile Boucher and Norah Bell Boucher; step-grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer (Christopher) Brull and Dr. Evan (Brenda) Sundgren; and step-great-grandchildren, Jacob Brull, Paul Brull and Maggie Brull.
Her memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart of the Rockies Hospice, P.O. Box 1168, Salida, CO 81201.
Arrangements were with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home in Salida.
