Catherine Lamberg

Catherine (Cathy) Lamberg of Salida, 86 years old died Oct. 29, 2019 at St Thomas More in Canon City, Colorado. Shewas born Jan 18, 1933 in Salida to Mary Debliak Evans and Jacob Evans. The family moved to Minturn, CO where Jake was employed for the railroad, there Cathie (Katie )made lifelong friends. The family returned to Salida when Cathy was 18 years old and she worked for City Market. She married Glen (Bud “A”) Lamberg Aug. 30, 1952. She traveled with her husband to various places in Colorado working the family stockyard business in their young married life. Cathy later worked for Mtn Bell Telephone Company and a clerk for UPS. She enjoyed bowling, water volleyball, loved workingin the yard and being with family and friends. She also enjoyed knitting and sewing. She was affectionately known as “Mimi”. She is proceeded in death by her parents; brothers, Matt, Gene, Albert, and Tom and Grandaughter Jessi Bondurant. Survivors include daughters Pamela Wedige(Paul Ottmer)-Patti Bondurant(Mike). Grandson- Michael Bondurant(Lisa Pasquale) and great granddaughter Payton Bondurant. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Memorial services are set 11:00 AM Saturday November 9, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Friends who desire may make memorial contributions to either the Elks Lodge #808 Christmas Basket Fund or the Grainery Ministries through Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
