he was born April 15, 1927, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Clayton Floyd O’Dell and Myrtle Irene Fox O’Dell.
She met Louis Larcom in Muskegon, and they were married July 5, 1947.
The couple moved to Salida in 1953.
They had 10 children together and were married for 46 years.
Mrs. Larcom worked in a factory (like Rosie the Riveter, she liked to say), and volunteered as a hospital auxiliary volunteer (Pink Lady).
Her hobbies included piano, golf, card games, puzzles, reading and collecting old dolls.
She loved her family, extended family, friends and church. Her love of flowers made her an excellent gardener, her family said.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her son Robert Larcom.
Survivors include nine of her 10 children, Ruth (Tom), Carol (Roy), Gail (David), Larry (Margie), Forrest, Rebecca (Norman), Pam (Mike), David and Jimmy; 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Her funeral services will be at 1 p.m. May 4, 2019, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1140 Poncha Blvd.
Arrangements were with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home in Salida.
