Friends and family of Pete. I'm saddened to learn of his passing. I spent many hours in the field with Pete chasing pheasants, elk, and fishing as well. The meals we shared together with friends and family were always a special time. He was always happy, upbeat, and fun to be around. I'll miss his laugh and pleasant smile. Enjoy riding those mules in the sky. I'm sure your boys will miss your company and fatherly advice as well. RIP my friend.

Pete was a dear friend and I’ll miss him more than I can say. He had such a wonderful smile, loved riding, his family and all his friends. My heart breaks for his family, he left us much too soon.

I was so very saddened to hear of Pete's passing. We never really know the pain that other's feel. I pray that Pete is in a better place and that his family can take comfort in that. Pete was a great controller, friend and father. RIP my friend.

Pete & Family-
I am speechless. You were a very good friend. No matter what endurance ride I was at and you were there, you always made me feel so at home.
You were the first one to always offer to help. The times we sat around and talked will be cherished. Your smile was contiguous and your stories were so entertaining.
It just won’t be the same without you Pete.

It's been years since news of a death affected me this hard .I was so completely saddened and sorry for all of his family . I was so impressed with Peters sincerity , love and heart when he delivered his mothers eulogy a few short weeks ago. Peter was a true gentle man . I am so sorry
